Improvements to the Property Management Module are Underway!

Owner Statement Generation

Currently owner statements have some limitations that we we will be addressing in a March 2025 release.

  1. Statements are not generated to the screen, the only options are to generate a PDF or an Excel file.
  2. The act of generating a PDF causes a download to your PC.  The process is relatively annoying and can cause clutter on your device.
  3. No ability exists to retrieve previously generated owner statements.
  4. Outside of running a summary statement, it’s cumbersome to quickly run a report showing the total amount of management commissions earned both for a statement period ,to-date, last year, etc..

The new interfaces will largely correct those shortcomings while also allowing each statement to be previewed first and then published / approved.

Once complete, the new interfaces will allow us to quickly pivot to adding new functionality, such as:

  1. Owner balances.  Gone will be the days of having to track any residual amounts owed to / from an owner outside of Lodgix!
  2. Owner ACH payments.  No more having to process checks or re-enter payment info into a third party processor.  press a button, pay your owner electronically!
  3. Option to pay owners for long-term leases monthly.   We’ve heard you! It’s coming.
  4. Improved Owner Portal and big improvements to the Owner App.

BTW, we did reccently launch a new file manager for owners!  The improved file manager offers a much improved visual experience, while also supporting videos, image editing, etc.
